hahaha. jux watched a funny talk show called Rove on the tv jux now.. it was so hilarious.. now we have more things to watch other than 'so you think you can dance Australia' on sundays..

one of the comedians showed a clip where he secretly creeped behind tourists taking photos in sydney.. lol. then when a tourist asked him to take a photo for them.. he was like.. 'yeah sure..' once they've posed.. he took the cam and ran away.. naturally they ran after him.. he turned around n took a photo of them! hahaha.. the way he narrates it is so funny..

at the end of the show.. all the comedians had to looked at the camera deeply.. and say 'one thing that i love'.. so a guy went 'i've always wanted an expensive car... and now whenever i pump my petrol... i get an expensive car... *wink*' hahahaha.. they jux make fun of all matters including government issues.. simply lol.

the melbourne comedy festival is up on tv tml as well.. hohoho. gd stuff.

we baked banana cake ytd! it's so yummy... n smells so nice.. i cant resist to sneak a piece whenever i walk past it... hoho.

ytd's dinner was oven baked fish with mashed potatoes and pasta.. 1st time i made a mashed potato from scratch.. =X have any of us tried making it b4? it's actually quite easy.. n yummy.. but i'm not sure how to make the sauce.. we used instant ones ytd.. teach me if u noe!

it's save the earth day ytd! did any of u participate?? we did.. hahaha... we off all the lights n went out for a drive... went to King's Park.. it's a park on top of the hill with a beautiful overview of the city of Perth.. so we thgt the scene shld be very nice when onli the streets lights r on............

but when we reached there.. a lot of ppl seem to have the same idea as us... n not all buildings participated.. not every level of the offices participated... so after 5 mins.. my cousin said.. "waffles, anyone?" n we drove off to Gelare for ice cream waffles.. hahahaa...

on our way back we decided on our Anzac Day long weekend trip.. =D tt's abt 4 weeks from now.. we r going somewhere further.. stay overnight.. climbing a 60m tall tree..[dun ask me wad for..] there's margaret river's choco factory on the way there as well.. probably renting a cottage if we get around 10 ppl to go..

i'm not sure if we will reali get to go.. i'm trained not to get my hopes up.. lol. but my cousins seem to always do wad they thought of in the spur of the moment.. they will reali go n plan it out.. which is kind of cool. usually wad most ppl do is all talk n no actions when they haf to organise it..

anyway.. daylight savings is over! i'm back sync in time with singapore.. gained an hour.. lol. tml is the start of sch again.. but 3 wks later i'm going to have another wk break.. hoho. but this 3 wk is going to be a very busy one... ganbarimasu!! oosu!

did sth sinful ytd.. we ate choco fondue after dinner.. hahah.. my cousin has this cute little fondue set.. so we melted chocolate n ate it with marshmellow n banana.. yum.

we ate it on her balcony.. facing all the offices n companies opposite us.. n the road is just outside... so when my other cousin came back.. he was like "oh wow~! wad a nice view.. i think i hear a rubbish truck out there~! how romantic... i shall leave the 2 of u and go to slp now."

hahaha.. but we ended up chatting till 2am... when i have to wake up at 630am today to go for make up class.. lol. my stomach kept grumbling thruout the whole lesson cuz i onli ate an orange..

so now.. we r going to make rosti! yeap. the one at marche.. lols. yummy~

yeah yeah.. updating updating.... although there's nth much to say. lols.

hmm. i spent my holidays mostly sitting in front of the com! watching shows.. cook.. bath.. hse work.. watch shows.. slp... lols.

my parcel came! with my NEWS's calendar.. jap magazines.. n jap dictionary.. hoho. though the mags cant keep me for long.. but i'm not complaining.. =D

hmm. i went shopping with my cousin today! actually.. it's just a shopping centre 5 mins from home.. we went to walk around after lunch till it closes at 5pm.. got a shorts.. a skirt.. and slippers with ribbons.. lol. there's actually lots of cute stuffs over here.. if i have the money. but sadly i don't. but happily my mum bought me some clothes on her trip to macau.. =D

the temperature in the hse is definately lower than the temperature outside.. the sun was so hot out there yet it's so windy at home.. i'm dreading winter.

chatted with a few ppl over the days... i found tt i'm happy right now. i'm very glad i chose murdoch over singapore unis.. i'm glad i didnt jus go into any course in singapore tt my sucky grades can offer me...

i love wad i'm learning now.. even w/o any close frens.. spending break times on my own... i still want to go to sch.. as i've found out my great interest in japan.. i've found tt my tourism course makes more sense as well.. compared to physics n maths.. lol. my GP like module widen my knowledge as well.. n my commerce modules.. like law... well. it makes me sounds intelligent telling ppl i noe law. =D

living w/o parents.. though i'm not totally on my own.. makes me realised a lot of things i took for granted actually take a lot of effort.. checking out rates of interests to ensure ur fixed deposit is at the best rates.. washing clothes in such a way tt it wun turn out hard as cardboard after it's dry.. picking up all the hair tt we dropped so tt it wun clog the pipes.. etc.

independent means.. not depending on others rite? unless someone lives in solitary for his whole life.. it's kind of impossible.. so i'm proud to say i'm depending on all of u my family and my cousins. =D

oh btw. step up 2 is nice~~~~ lol. no storyline.. but love the dance.. hahaha.

ah. and for net n other ppl who r free n looking for some dramas to watch... here r some tt i found nice... all jap though.. hehe.

story abt a boxer who has a hard time maintaining his weight cuz he loves to eat.. n he fell in love with a nun. funny n a little touching show...

well. if u duno the anime.. it's a little hard to describe.. overall abt love n sch life of a bunch of art uni students.. funny as well.. certain parts i laugh till i spill my rice.. literally. lol.

Papa to Musume no Nanokakan
abt a daughter who kind of hated her dad and not on talking terms with him.. one day after an accident their souls exchanged.. the dad's acting real pro.. reali looked like a high sch ger.. funny family drama..

Proposal Daisakusen
abt tis guy who liked his childhood fren but kept thinking tt the ger will always by his side.. so he kept waiting for the 'best' chance to confess. yet the ger was getting married already. at the wedding, while going thru slides of their high sch photos.. he reali regretted and a 'fairy' appeared. he grant him to return to the past around the time of the photo to try to change history.. touching love story.. and the special epi is out!!!!!! not subbed yet.. but it's nice!! XD

it's abt swindling.. a guy who's dad got swindled n committed suicide.. became resentful.. he swore to swindle all the swindlers and return the money to the victims. the movie is out as well in jap.. if anybody sees it in cathay muz tell me ok!!!!! i wanna watch~~~~~~!

Galileo
detective story.. but solving weird cases tt seems unexplainable by science.. yet a scientist worked with a police to solve it... interesting show...

My Boss My Hero
the head of a yakuza (jap gangster) group intend to step down soon yet his son, who's gd at fighting, is a complete idiot who cant even add numbers properly. in order to let his fellow gang mates to accept his son as a future head.. he forced him to attend high sch.. hilarious show.. lol.

Hanazakari no Kimitachi e
HanaKimi, Ikemen Paradise, hua1 yang4 shao4 nian2 shao4 nu3 jap version. the one where ella was a ger but went to a all guys sch with wu zun in it.. yeah. the jap ver is way better.. =D it's abt tis ger who likes a guy who does high jumping. he stopped jumping for certain reasons so she went to the all boys sch (dressed up as a guy of cuz) in order to make him jump again.. for ur info, they r shooting the special epi now.. hoho.

well.. all the above dramas r complete dramas with subs.. so enjoy it ppl~! n tell me how u feel abt the shows if u watch them.. =D

my internet is UP!!!!!!!!!! muahaha. though me n my cousin went all the way to e post deport to picked the modem up.. spent the nite trying to fix it up.. failed.. gave up.. watched grease.. ate yogurt.. wait for my other cousin to come home.. he tried to fix it while the 2 of us pillow fight on his bed.. hahahaha.. n it's done!!!! i'm a happy kid now. =D

ok let's talk abt the tests. since u all r concerned.. dun blame me if it's a resentful page of writings.. muaha.

1st the law test. well.. it's fairly ok.. i can ans most of the qn.. except a few tt requires me to memorise cases i've nv seen b4 and their outcomes. zzz. n the ppl here r mad... since we can leave the moment we finish.. ppl start leaving after 15 min! it's like they memorise the ans n there's no need to check.. stress.............

n today.. even better. i'm suppose to have kanji test.. (kanji r chinese characters used in japanese) the words r to be obtained from a software which i duno how to use.. since it's a 2nd yr class.. the teacher assumes tt everybody noes how to use it.. so i went to ask a classmate.. he was very kind n say he will send me all the words needed to my email..

i received it.. n guess wad. he sent me half of the words onli... not on purpose maybe.. but i haf 5 min to study another 20 words.. their different pronounciations, the compound words they form, wad they mean n how they r written.. it's traditional chinese characters.. panic.

well. i failed to ans one of it.. the pronounciation sounds like... poisonous food.. but it was actually reading books... wadever~~~~ dun think u guys r interested in these details..

anyway.. YAY to long holiday break with internet access!! we r so proud of ourselves we treated ourselves to timtams... hahaha.. a kind of chocolate bar.. at 1am.. lol. n our wireless is called "doesnotexist"... hahaha..

oh. got angry with the australian post as well. grr. my parcel is here today~~ they said it was scheduled but due to time constraints.. they didnt send it over.. so i asked whether i can go down n get it today.. they r like.. " sorry.. we stopped all our services for the long weekend already. it can onli be resumed on 8am tue morning" it was onli 3pm today lor~~~~ need to siam so early or not.. it's like the whole australia stopped working cuz TOMORROW is a holiday.. piff~

what a bad night ytd was. cousins quarrelled. over nitty gritty stuffs. which then evolved into "ur character problem" stuffs. then to "the way u communicate/accept problems" stuffs.

i hate loud voices. n i was sitting in between them. couldnt move. tried to focus on the tv. failed. tears fell involuntarily. lol. cant stand it.

it's kind of nice though. the way they try to communicate their feelings. even if they both totally dun match in character. "i love u tt's y i bother to forgo my tv shows, stop my dish washing and stand at the kitchen counter trying to talk sense into u". "because u r my brother tt's why when u shout it's so hurtful".

this kind of conversation nv appear in my family. n i always do my best to avoid them. with arguments n retorts going thru my head but not out of my mouth. [well, out of my mouth when i'm complaining to u guys. lol]

i feel so wrong to be listening to all those stuffs they r talking abt.. cuz it's a family thing.. and.. they dun reali think of me as a family member.. more like their aunty's daughter.. they are responsible for me and i'm more like a burden to them.

hmm.. anyway. i wun be able to update after today till the modem comes.. probably next wk.. enjoy ur gd friday~~! happy easter. for bunnies n eggs. ^-^

i cant read my own blog using my own laptop in sch... when i can last wednesday.. wad kind of weird connection is this. grr.

anyway. my cousin had her frens over to our hse ytd.. to try n cut n sew back PIG TROTTERS. apparently.. they r having a test soon.. n it's uncomfortable.. to see 3 person.. cutting 3 uncooked pig trotters and sewing them back with..... not so pretty stitches.. not tt i'll be better at it.. but.. it's jux uncomfortable.. hahaha..

i'm having my law test tml.. yikes! pray ppl... pray for me to survive nice & sound.. it's 25%... one qn one mark one percent....

although it's suppose to be warmer than ytd.. it's freezing cold tis morning.. and most probably now as well.. i think it's 10 degrees.. plus winds.. luckily.. i've bought new jackets! a blue checkered one and a pink graffiti one.. weee... hahaha..

did my presentation this morning.. bad....... so bad...... but who cares.. it's over. tt's all tt matters.. muahaha.. now i can focus on my essay.. i MUST finish it by saturday.. proof read by sunday.. send it in for plagarism test on monday.. and hand in b4 thurs..

besides.. i have to study for my law test on sunday.. last min cramming on monday.. and even more Buddha leg hugging on tues's lunch break.. AND i have a kanji (chinese characters used in jap) test on thurs.. *screams*

but after all tt crazy stuffs... i will have gd friday off next week.. and a whole week of easter break.. WITHOUT the internet though.... sobs. but i can laze around... go shopping.... make muffins n lemon slices with my cousin.. if we manage to dig out the recipe tt is.. =D

wonder if u guys have to write essays n stuffs which requires u to find n reference from journals or books? like grace doing business.. jf doing accountancy... all my commerce units doesnt seem to require tt..

but i find myself piled with essays to be done in the coming weeks.. mostly from foundation unit (GP like module) and my tourism unit.. n it's horrible. they hate internet reference (esp wikipedia! it's BANNED over here).. and if i happen to write it in singapore context.. i can hardly find any books on it..

then there's reading logs.. i got my 1st one back.. and he says i seem to be doing it in a rush.. which i didnt.. which means i have to go rethink the way i do it for my next few reading logs.. grrrr.

anyway.. during jap class ytd.. we had to pair up to do an exercise of finding out wad each of us have in common... then tis aussie guy and french ger pair went.. "we liked the same song!" the aussie guy went bright eyed and said "yamapi's daite seniorita!!" (Jap pop idol's song) i was so shocked la.. the rest of us went laughing.. i was like "u KNOW tt song???" he was like "yeah.. it's catchy! it's rather old song though.." ZZZZ it was out in 2006 onli la..

it's hard to imagine these ang moh ppl to noe all these jpop idols when more than half of u who r reading this dun even haf an idea who tt was! hahaha.. they went "we are so going to sing tis song at the karaoke.." haha.. makes me kind of want to go n watch them sing.. but cant.. lols.

well..gtg for now.. guess i will update earliest next mon... going to search for journals n think wad to cook for lunch.. hmmmmmm...

another day in sch. well. it's supposed to be windy today.. with a max of.. 23 degrees.. min.. probably less than 10 degrees.. currently.. trees outside the library are swaying rather vigourously.. lol. and i'm seeing ppl wearing sleeveless.. shorts.. my cousin even looked surprised tis morning tt i'm wearing jacket.. ok. i'm dreading winter. hahaha..

there'll be another japanese society outing tml... which i think i will not be able to go.. they r going karaoke at a place near our sch... at 7pm.. which means.. i have no transport home.. although karaoke is not reali my thing.. but i thgt it will be nice to get to noe more ppl.... nah. i have cooking duty as well. forget it.

my phone line is UP!!! which means i can call ppl now.. but i cannot use the internet yet. what's new~ have to wait till easter break then...............

today is market day! actually every thurs is market day.. hahaa.. i'm not sure if their stalls will still stand in the wind.. shall figure tt out later.. haha.. they sells all sorts of stuffs.. clothes.. accessories.. scented candles.. coloured glass decorations.. electric goods.. greeting cards.. etc..

and i heard next sem there'll be a poster sales! reali wanna get a nice poster to cover up the holes on my wall.. haha.. like anime ones.. or nice sceneries... i actually found some in frementle.. but very expensive.. expecially those on canvas sheets.. sobs.. very pretty...........

anyway.. did i mention my parents r comin over on my birthday?? just when i thgt i've got rid of them.. hahaha.. jkjk.. it's kind of nice... but my dad's coming as well.. which means my mum will be having a hard time.. my dad dun reali like to do tourist-y stuffs.. neither does he wann come n help clean our hse (which is wad my mum intend to do).. lol. they r going to stay in tis casino hotel... which is kind of far from our hse.. lol. well. i duno. hope for the best. lol.

oh.. start making appointments to meet me!! hahaa.. sounds so bhb. i noe it's still a long long time later... but i wan to make sure i can meet everybody b4 i fly off again.. and i hate last mins. =D it will make me look forward going back too.. ^-^

sorry to ppl who faithfully read my blog. my internet is NOT UP YET. they are SERIOUSLY FREAKING SLOW. and to think they are actually proud of their internet connection.. *piff*

i think my internet will be up after my easter hols... sobs. i have a one week easter hols.. and i have nth to do at home! how bad can tis be... oh. in case u r wondering.. i brought my laptop to sch today.. hahaha..

hmm.. where shld i start. oh. the party. i didnt stay for it for long... it started with beer n champagne.. mingle mingle.. then introductions.. ppl who r from japan... ppl who r going to japan.. and ppl who came back from japan.. hahaha.. i ran off after tt.. had to cook dinner.. lols.

oh. i've decided to go to japan sem 2 next yr.. so it's like.. 6 mths there.. hopefully getting a scholarship for it.. =D

hmm.. i'm catching up in law now... at least i noe more of australia's law than singapore's.. haha.. got lots of essays due.. n i'm procrasinating...... as usual. lol.

jap class is better now too.. i usually sit between 2 guys.. the brit-jap mix who acts like an overactive little brother (he IS younger.. turning 18 tis yr) and an indonesian guy who acts like a mum.. hahaha.. there's a ger from france as well who's quite friendly.. and a few jap exchange students.. international class.. hahaha..

despite all the ppl i get to noe... i still roam around alone.. haha.. and since my internet will not be up soon... u guys can email me at jovislsy@gmail.com! haha.. i check tis in sch everyday... =D

went to frementle last sat... it's like a tourist attraction place.. weekend markets.. novelty shops.. street performers.. bought some jackets.. ate crepes.. german hotdogs.. boost.. bought pies.. and chocolates!!!! there's tis Reese peanut butter chocolates tt's so so addictive (expensive as well).. i'll try to get a pack home for u guys to try if possible.. (sold out very quickly)..

and since Easter is coming.. all sorts of choco brands came up with bunnies n egg choco.. i bought a pack with M&N minis, mars bars, maltease.. all in the shape of mini eggs.. hhaha.. damn cute..

studying tourism makes all my trips around australia or other parts of the world different.. haha.. i tend to stand in different position to look at the place.. like how tourism is affecting the community n stuffs like tt.. at least it's tying in with my life.. haha..

btw. i'm going japan in july!! haha.. so it's singapore.. japan... singapore.. then perth.. haha.. sth to make me look forward to.. i can live thru my exams with tis!!

i have a field trip report to do soon... so i haf to go some tourist-y place with a classmate.. then write a report on it.. hmm... sounds fun.. except for the essay part.. hahaha.. but since it's onli 1500 words... it shld be finee.... i guess..



ok here u go. burswood.. the place where i watched the outdoor movie.. the dark one is halfway thru the show.. n tt bright little thing behind the screen is the moon... haha..



and tis is me me in frementle and street performer.. haha.. scottish songs.. gothic costumes.. and a boy drives a remote controlled car around to collect money which ppl give.. lols.
